I've been fronting a project for five years now, under the same name as my title: Death and the Lament. Influences are anywhere from Yes to Dissection. I recently recorded an album with ten songs, as I am also an aspiring audio production student. I have an open mind so obviously if it has good music I will like it.

If you happen not to like "screaming" vocals then at least give the music a chance. There are just some songs that you can't cleanly give vocals to, that's where you get an awkward sound like Nevermore does.
