Default Don't you think the punk rock band The Ramones had a sad ending to their career?

There was a bunch of animosity between Joey and Johnny in the 90's. A big grude is what I read about.

Then Joey got cancer. He never forgave Johnny.

Because of more internal conflict the band broke up.

Few years later, Joey died and couple months later Dee Dee died of a drug overdose.

A shame. In eight years, Joey, Johnny, and Dee Dee Ramone all died after the breakup.

Marky is the survior.
R.I.P.- Joey, Johnny, and Dee Dee.

Will never be forgotten.
Oh and Tommy and CJ Ramone are still alive today.
The Ramones could've still been around today.
Actually, joey unfortunately died of cancer. rest in peace

yea it is sad...

joey could of lived if he didn't fall and break his hip. cause they had to take him off kemotherapy to repair his hip, then thats when cancer took him... it is sad really. i was listening to this radioshow that talks about the history of rock, and they were talking about how joey ramone died, its sad. to see such a great band, i dunno, whats a good word...die?

i would of loved to see the ramones live, but thats not gonna happen, same with the clash.

yea, they probably could of been around today

obviously, the way these guys went out is a total shame, but sometimes that's the way it goes with bands, you just wish they might have had a chance to kiss and make up...i mean, the eagles hated each other for the longest time but had to fulfill their record contracts before they could break up, and that almost ended in a fistfight, but now they're back together and friendly again

I wouldn't really it was a sad end.. I mean the circumstances of the deaths and such yes but when you think back on their actual career, it had already ended by that point. When bands spend that long together, conflict is inevitable. The had a great run and that's what they should be remembered for.
