Thread: Best Green Day album

    Default Best Green Day album

Personally for me it's Insomniac but what are other posters faves.

For me it's Dookie because it came out just as I was beginning high school and, come on, what 12 year old wouldn't get hooked on punk rock? Also because of "In The End", "She" and "Having A Blast".

I don't like the band, but from what I've listened to Dookie is the best by far

I've heard so much about that album but never listened to any of its songs

I personally grew out of them around 17. They give a very "teen" energy, imo. And I'm not saying that is a bad thing, just that I eventually couldn't relate to their music anymore. But I still listen to them from time to time when I'm feeling nostalgic of the time we had to rely on big brother/sister to get alcohol

I'm not that big of a fan anymore, but American idiot is the best by far. I remember when I used to love them, I would kiss the huge poster of Billie Joe Armstrong on my wall almost every day... They're pretty good live anyway, saw them in Norway last year.

Hmmm, this is hard for me. Only because of the question! What do you mean by best? Do you mean my favourite? In that case it would easily be Dookie. But do you actually mean best? As in best songs, artwork, order etc. If so then it would be American Idiot, everything about that album was just perfect. The Art, the track order, the promotion, easch and every track. The 4 part Epics. I must have been about 10 when it first came out, and it was awesome!

I have seen Greenday to, In Manchester on the 21st Century Tour. Very Good Show!

So, I think I am going to vote for Dookie as it is my favourite
