I wouldn't really consider thoes bands punk.
but heres a few that i like that are kind of like the ones you listed
the used,
blink 182,
army of me,
the ataris,
the audition,
Box car racer,
Breaking Benjamin,
Chevelle,
Green Day (duh haha)
Jimmy Eat World,
Mest,
The offspring,
Our Lady Peace
Story of the year,
Three Doors Down
the starting line.
If you want like real punk bands try stuff like
Leftover Crack, Rancid, Bad religion, etc.
or some that aren't as well known like..
The subways, Ring finger(you can only find them on myspace i know them personally check them out =D)
well i could go on for days about this so i'll just shut up now.
let me know if you have any more questionss
<3 Sarah

MxPx is the band practically paved the way for the sissy bands you like, you should check them out. At least they were still punk, they just had the "voice" thing going on...and unfortunately that spread to bands who's music was considerably softer, like Simple Plan and Good Charlotte. But since you obviously like whiney music, then MxPx might be up your alley. They're early nineties, right within that range.

The bands you listed, not punk. If you're looking for some good ones in the eras you gave try these....

Face to Face
Samiam
The Clash
Bad Religion
NOFX
Dropkick Murphy's
The Ducky Boys
MXPX
The Vandals
Rancid
Black Flag
The Misfits
Mustard Plug
Bouncing Souls
Stretch Arm Strong

That should get you started.

The Misfits should be mandatory listening if you're getting into punk.

And don't take it personally, but if you want a punk band that sounds like linkin park I really don't see the punk genre doing much for you.
