Thoughts? I personally thought Americana was great when i first heard it. I'm a fan, although i don't listen to them as much as i used to. HAs anyone got there newest album? Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. What are your thoughts on this? I haven't heard it yet.

Yeah, rare occasion that i admire mainstream band but i've been listening to their stuff since... I dont remember, really. The spirit of the Offspring never gets outdated for me.
Thoughts on Rise and Fall? Some say that the Offspring completely went mediocre pop-punk. Dont believe it. While with the second part of this statement it's hard to disagree, their music has never smelled with hunger for money like general pop-punk does. It always remains sunny and natural, so forget about lables.
I consider this album way better than their previous very disputable 'Splinter'. Looks like guys, being unable to remain the same, at last found the best path to carry on.

I'm going to buy or download the album one of these days. I've always liked them. I'm kicking myself for not going to see them in concert last year..

They are great live... And their music is great. Also their new albums. Nothing wrong with it. :-) Fan since I was 12...
