sorry this isn't 2008 material but I would suggest M.O.P.'s 2000 Warrioz album. they're Brooklyn natives who have been around since Biggie came out but you won't find much of their stuff on the radio. they were signed to Rocafella for awhile and more recently, they signed to G-Unit, but don't hold that against them check these clips out and tell me what you think

I thought Lil Wayne had a good verse on Destiny Child's "Soldier" I would also suggest "Clear the Set" by Lil Wayne and "Get Out Tha Way" by The Hot Boys. Both of these songs are off of the group's Guerilla Warfare album.

Common-I really liked "The Corner" but I was completely disappointed with the Be album. Have you heard "The Bitch In Yoo"? I don't know much about him but he seems like a pretty mellow guy but I guess this song is a Westside Connection diss.

In general I am really a rocker but I love the sound of old school gangster rap. Like 90's era. Late or early. I've only heard some of this music will at parties, or from cars, etc... so I really do not know the name of ANY artists except for 2 pac. Can you please give me some good names of rappers. I like gangster rap, like shooting stuff up, thugging, robbery, rap about that kind of stuff. Also rap you can just chill to as well, honestly I know this is a really vague question but i'd like some suggestions on what I should download (off itunes of course).
