The melody in that song, right when it starts you can hear it good if you ignore the singing. Some kind of violet or piano? I got no idea what instrument that is but thats not what I'm after.
You hear this melody reapet it self 2 times before the drums start. And the rest of the song too. the melody gets reapeted the whole song.
I used to listen to a song that had the exact same melody (but this song is where this melody originaly came from and it might be an old song I dont remember). When I heard this "cookie jar" intro on tv in like 3 sec it brought up alot of feelings since I used to listened to that old song (where the melody originaly came from) all the time. It was one of my favorite songs. And I had alot of favorite songs so I forgot the names... (-.-)
So I wanted to find that older song which GYM CLASS HEROES must have stolen the melody from but I totaly forgot the name! I was searching on google everywhere but all I could find were reviews of cookie jar and people being positive about the melody: saying its very original and catching!
That was very frustating. I have to find the name of that other song who came up with the melody of cookie jar. This song might be few years old? because I don't even know what age I was when I was listening to this song. But I do know I've heard it before because I even had it on my mp3 and listened to it alot.

I was hoping that on this forums people listen alot of music and someone also recognise the melody too and maybe remember the song where the melody originaly came from!
