but what do you guys think of Slipknot and Slayer, i personaly think they are garbage seriously Slipknot scares me. They're music just seems like its screeming, well what do you guys think?

I used to be a fan of all of the bands you have mentioned, you would probably like the band Flaw.
I think Slayer and Slipknot are ok bands, "It just sounds like screaming" a lot of people say that and its usually because they are more fixated on the lyrics and the delivery of the lyrics as apposed to say the music as a whole.

yes slayr dose suck ball but not because they are a death metal band it that they dont have any good song with good rifts. and slipknot only has one good song befor i forget it dosnt have any thing about death in it. so you shoul check it out but be worned it has a realy bad begining

slayer isnt death metal, neither is slipknot.
just want to make sure that everyone is clear on that

None of the bands he mentioned are Death Metal or close to it. Slayer is great Thrash band, the rest are pretty horrible. Generic Nu-Metal. |

Yeah I have to agree MMM, Slayer released some of the best thrash metal albums ever back in the day, "Reign in Blood" being one of them.

Meh i think i just dont like HEAVY metal.
KoRn, Disturbed, Powerman 5000 and Linken Park are like my favourites.
btw people say Slipknot is emo... if its not emo then what music is emo?

I know one thing is certain xcelr8Armo, Slipknot is not emo, they are closer to a thrash/death metal band with some nu metal influences as well.

Just for the record, MMM, what I meant was I dont listen to Death Metal. 
I do like Korn, Disturbed, and Linkin Park.  shocker, huh
