Hmm... I have to say Slipknot are my favourite band at the moment, so I pretty much like all of their songs... Except for a few of the slower heavy, can't hear what their saying type songs, like the ones you would hear on their first album... My fave songs would be pretty much anything from the subliminal verses... I also like Psychosocial, Snuff, All hope is gone and The killing name from their new album... Basically I like many songs off all of their albums and dislike few they do scream sometimes... But I think it's necessary...

I'm not really into Slayer but who knows about the future? I used to dislike metallica but i like almost as much as slipknot now!

Aren't there any bands less main stream and a little better than slipknot ??

Ok, I don't really know much about music and it's different genre's and sub-genre's, so I guess that I can't really answer the mainstream/slipknot question sorry... But I want to see what others think about all these weird heading different bands get put into... For ages all I heard was Slipknot are 'nu-metal' so thats what I considered them to be, not actually understanding what nu metal is exactly haha... Then I read an interview of Corey Taylor, the band's main vocalist and he says they are not new metal etc etc... What I want to really say is, are there really categories we can put music into? Is it fair to say that every person creates a new category? Because no two people will like the exact same bands without disagreement? Haha so thats my bit said...

I like the mindless screaming and howling. =D So yeah I love disturbed, slipknot and korn. <3 Lp.. is alright.
