No he's Rockability which is at best a watered down version of 50's Rock N' Roll, which is in turn extremely watered down and was never seen as a legitimate form of expression even in it's heyday. So if you like Elvis, fine. King of Rock?

Genesis, Queen, are both grand bands. Generalizing bands and putting them into genres is as hard as saying one painting is better than another.
It's not fair to do that to real artists... they write music to be listened to and interpreted not shoveled into a nice little box to be organized on a shelf. Mind you some do.. bands that are controlled by labels manipulated and or created for the soul purpose of sales..
Music is art.. or should be.

You can't really just ask for the best rock band in the world, they're all different, as for my favorites, they include
