Hi, Im trying to get a band that is new and that i like to be more known. Its a fairly new band called Animo.(Dont worry it about saying we i copied it from their website theanimo.com) Here are some QUICK FACTS: We are the rock 'n roll band ANIMO! We used to be called DORK. You can find us at myspace.com/animorocks We rock. In February 2007 we decided it was time for a band member to leave and for us to change our name to ANIMO. Here are some things we have done as a band: Sold over 9000 cds. Played over 500 shows all over North America, including the entire Vans Warped Tour in 2004, 2005, and 2006. In December 2006 our song "Songwriting for Dummies" was selected as the winner by a panelist of listeners and radio station employees as the number 1 song out of 40 local bands. In January 2007 we had a drumhead put in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame as part of the Vans Warped Tour display. We are also featured in the video that accompanies the display. We have had songs appear on American Pie Presents: Band Camp, MTV, and FUSETV. Named Best Punk Rock Band by the Westword newspaper in 2003, and 2006. We have also been featured in the paper several times. We rock and have fun.
