Has anyone heard of these guys?

These guys (and girls) play the best mix ever between classical music and rock and roll. I have one DVD of them and my god is it brilliant.

What does everyone else think of these guys?

Yeah, they rarely (if ever) do music that isn't related to the christmas season, but my god... It's a normal 5 peice band with a couple more guitarists and back ground vocalist and then a 10-20 piece orchestral arrangement. It freakin rocks!

They've been around for a while. I also think they are pretty cool. I also like the Metallica S&M album...don't shoot!!!

And the guitarists they have are insanely good. Think melodic, neoclassical.

GOD DAMMIT PEOPLE !!! I created a thread: SAVATAGE, and almost no response came, now, a few weeks later, I stumble upon this thread... Guess what: Savatage = Trans Siberian Orchestra. Jon Oliva brought togheter the orchestra, guitarwork is done by savatage members, even the singing is!

i think most of it has to do with people looking at threads that they recognise more. i checked out your Savatage thread and i really enjoyed it. it makes sense though right? people must have just skimmed past your thread because they didnt recognise the name.
