Probably been done plenty of times but just wondering what is everyone's favorite?

The 90's! Alice In Chains, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam...
I will need time to mull this decision over, I like too much to just decide.
It was a hard decision for me, but I went with the 90's.
My ranking would be 90's, 70's, 60's, 80's, 2000's.
90's.
Rage Against The Machine, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Pennywise, Good Riddance, Bad Religion, Mudhoney, Megadeth's best album.
Yea the 90's for me. Then the 80's for Punk Rock and Thrash Metal.
I would have to say the 80's
I was in my late teens in 1980 so that must have something to do with it.
Many great Canadian artists and bands in the 80's
I'll go with the 90's!
With bands like Soundgarden, Rage Against The Machine, Alice In Chains, and Pearl Jam who can go wrong? Not to mention the debut of Foo Fighters. [/fanboy]
I went with the 90's too for many of the above mentioned bands. Ill also add the Chili Peppers to the list.
A trip to the England without a trip to Scotland.... is just a trip to England.
70's and 80's were the best to me. 90's fail with stupid grunge
What Mud said pretty much sums up my answer.
70's of course.
It was the magic boom of progressive rock after all.
Never since has rock gained such artistic value.
"And mists were pastels over the river…
And the music! Nature’s symphonic notes!
The birds, the river and the whisk-whisk brush
Of leaves form harmonies as soft, warm rain."
- Ode to Gaia, E. W. Richardson.
90's Definitely.
Most of my favorite music came out during that decade; Blood Sugar Sex Magic is just awesome.
Loving the 90's love. Ha!
I'm actually surprised no one has voted for the 60's. I keep hearing people say they loved the 60's rock scene and such.
1980's for me...
Def Leppard
Poison
Van Halen
Ozzy
Metallica
Guns N' Roses
AC/DC
Iron Maiden
Mötley Crüe
Queen
Twisted Sister
Billy Idol
Quiet Riot
Megadeth
I could go on forever. I realize some of these may fall into different genres other than "Rock", but my interpretion of this thread was pretty liberal.
Never felt so complete as when we're alone on the sand at night
the 70's because they define breaking the boundaries without touching DISCO!
