Yellowcard is a band now currently in Los Angeles, California (Since 2000) who were originally based in Jacksonville, Florida. Yellowcard is a Alternative Rock (w/ some Pop punk) band and they also feature a violin player, which is unusual for the genre. The band has also changed their genre roots from Punk Rock to Alternative Rock. Part of the reason why they changed is because of band member switching. After the band lineup change, the band also switched record labels from DIY Records to Lobster Records then to Fueled By Ramen Records. Then they switched to their current record label Capitol Records. The original band lineup was:
-Ben Dobson (Guitar/Vocals)
-Ben Harper (Guitar)
-Todd Clary (Bass)
-Longineu W. Parsons III (Drums)
Sean Mackin (Violin) was featured in some songs but not a full band member because he did not agree with alot of the bands messages. That later changed when Ryan Key was in the band, then he was a full member.
Then, Ben Dobson lost interest in the band and he got replaced by current vocalist/guitarist Ryan Key (In 2000). Now the current lineup (Since the newest album release) is:
-Ryan Key (Lead Vocals, Guitar)
-Sean Mackin (Violin, Vocals)
-Ryan Mendez (Guitar, Vocals)
-Peter Mosely (Bass, Piano, Vocals)
-Longineu W. Parsons III (Drums)
The most famous songs they played are 'Ocean Avenue', 'Only One', 'Lights and Sounds' and 'Light Up The Sky'. They released 6 studio albums, 3 EPs, 1 Live Album, and 1 DVD.
Studio Albums:
-Midget Tossing (1997)
-Where We Stand (1999)
-One For The Kids (2001)
-Ocean Avenue (2003)
-Lights And Sounds (2006)
-Paper Walls (2007)

EDIT: A little bit after a decade of Yellowcard, they decided to go on hiatus, which could've been permanent. But after a nice short 2 year hiatus, Yellowcard is at it again, with some a new bassist and on a different record label. They've already announced some new songs being reworked by Ryan Key's side group 'Big If'.
