Haha i agree. But im not trying to force a god on anyone. Lots of people don't think he exists. Nobody single handedly invented rock n roll, besides god lol. But for a less broad answer, i think t-bone walker is someone who really helped bring it along. Everyone wants to say elvis.
The blues is a type of music that was born in America. There was really nothng like it anywhere else. And the power of the blues is felt all over the world. Black people invented this type of music that became rock n roll.

Elvis stole it from blues musicians. Robert Johnson should get a paycheck from graceland every month.

If t-bone walker invented it, why is this the first time i've ever heard that name?

But I think Elvis played a huge part in the invention of rock n roll. That's just my opinion though.

    I wasn't serious.

    Alan Freed created it.

Fats Domino, Lloyd Price, Ike Turner, Hank Williams, Joe Turner, Louis Jordan, Ray Charles, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Buddy Holly , and Elvis Presley helped make it popular.

Because ignorance exists, just because you don't know it doesn't make it true. Unless you're a know it all lol. T-bone walker is one the first people to plug his guitar into an amp, he was one of the first to ever record with an electric guitar. And all that flash that hendrix "created," that came from tbone. He was playing with his teeth and playing behind his back in the 30's.

ELVIS definitely took it to the mainstream level i agree. But he stole material from blues musicians for the foundation of his songs. fact.
