I have a SHOUTcast server and my DJ can't connect. Please help!?

So yeah, I got a DJ for my SHOUTcast server, and he seems to be unable to connect to my server as a DJ...

I run from a 5mb/s down line, going through a port fordwarded d-link router.. do I change a setting in shoutcast, or something with my router?

well, right now, my router is only forwarding port 8000 -> 8000, so iono. any help would be great.
