hey, i wrote this song after St Georges Day when me and my friends got in trouble at college for wearing an England flag...for apparently it being offensive
so it got me thinking about how ridiculous the country has become with all the p.c stuff.

before reading some of the lyrics or words used could be offensive to others so apologies in advance if this is the case...

This is England?

Racism? now what a word
everything is racist now its quite absurd
cant wear the colours of our own country
cant be proud of the fact were from our country
theres fights that go on in the dead of night
two groups of people ones black, ones white
its stupid, were all just people
but at the end of the day our society's lethal
the government makes sure freedom of speech is dead
its 'seasons greetings' now 'merry christmas' cant be said
and why is that? i ask, it just builds our troubles
our government is to busy catering for others
my opinion might come across as racist
but deep in my heart i cant seem to embrace it
i know many people, not all of them white
but i seem to get slated, its my opinion they fight
im sure its a view that is shared by many
just like changing to the euro, il stick to the penny
i just want a chance to show my patriotism
but when i do, i get branded for racism
all i ask to do is wear st georges flag
on our countries saints day, is that so bad?
has pride and reality gone out the door?
or are we such a joke that were not england anymore

this is my first attempt at lyrics of this style, so any comments, good or bad, are much appreciated
