Question Antoinette Scruggs - Backup Vocalist For Many Including Chaka Khan

Hello Friends,

I have been recently jamming to the 2007 Chaka Khan release, Funk This (which is fantastic, by the way), and I noticed a name that appears a number of times as one of Chaka's background vocalists - Antoinette Scruggs. I have been having difficulty finding any information about this singer. Does anyone know anything about her?

Thanks!

Sharon

Default PLEASE help!

I've been looking for more on her, too! If you watch Christina Aguilera's VH1 Storytellers performance, about 2/3 of the way through the song You Lost Me, right after the lines "You chose lust when you deceived me. And you'll regret it, but it's too late," one of the three backup singers powerfully belts out "How can I ever see you again"

It's perfect, absolutely perfect, and it immediately caught my ear the first time I heard it. After watching it multiple times, that line from the backup singer became my favorite part, and I decided I had to know who that woman is. Looking through the end-credits, I narrowed the possibilities down to a couple names, and after doing a couple searches online I'm 90% sure the singer was this Antoinette Scruggs. But I can't be sure, because I can't find hardly anything about her except a very short list of works she's been featured on.

So if anyone knows anything about her or where to hear her singing, you gotta let me know! Especially if you can confirm whether she was/wasn't the backup singer I'm looking for from Christina Aguilera's Storytellers performance.
