...and no, this time, that's not me
I love tennis. Great sport
Anyone see the World Tour Finals in london. It was so surprising. I did not see it coming
You know my life would be easy
If people would leave me alone
Only when I'm at the Country Club on the weekends or up at the other house in the Hamptons. Also we have a tennis court built onto the yacht.
No, not really. I'm poor white trash, don't really pay attention to tennis.
I used to watch more back in the day. Arthur Ashe, Ivan Lendl, Boris Becker, Yannick Noah, Michael Chang, early years of the Williams sisters. I used to play in high school myself.
This is one sport I rather play than watch.
Never felt so complete as when we're alone on the sand at night
I like it. I've played off and on at public courts and played intramurals at college. A PUBLIC college, by the way...
I still follow pro tennis, though not too fervently. I was heavily interested back in the Lendl/McEnroe/Borg/Connors days. Not as much now- the typical power game I find a bit of a bore, people like Andy Roddick whose strategy for winning seems to be, if they don't break my power serves I might win. I prefer a game with finesse; that's when interesting strategy comes into play. You can typically get that in the women's games, though the Williams sisters were threatening to derail that for a while with their own version of the men's power game. I'm glad to see that has equalized a bit over time.
I really think it's the dominance of the power serve game that makes it boring for the marginally interested. And as iasc stated, there are plenty of people who would not get into watching a ball go back and forth to begin with.

I watch it when its on tv, usually Wimbledon over the summer... in between the parts where it gets rained off.
A trip to the England without a trip to Scotland.... is just a trip to England.
Its a great sport.
Its a bit difficult to watch on television, unless you are a bit knowledgeable about Tennis and really into it. Otherwise, its a good way to catch some ZZZ's and take a nap on the couch in front of the TV.
Fellows: If you find a girl that loves to play tennis and loves music too, chances are good, she will be fun loving, prettier than average, and smart. There is no scientific data or research to back this up. It is simply only this moron's opinion!
Look at it this way too, especially all of you in the USA, as we get older, for the most part , we do not stay in the good shape that we should. Tennis is fun and is a great way to stay fit. Women that play tennis, look much better than average as they age and actually look about ten years younger than a non active person once they reach their early fifties.
Time Waits For No One and maintaining good health is key to getting the best out of life. You still want to have fun, when you finally can afford to retire, but the thing is you've got to be in decent enough shape to do all those things you would like to.
If you get too far out of shape, early, its usually very hard to get back in shape later in life. Most people hate to exercise because it isn't fun and its boring.
Tennis, if you find it enjoyable to play, will make it easy to stay fit, if you tend to play regularly. It isn't an expensive sport to play. It does require a partner to play, but most of you are musicians that play well with others , and not simply a solo act, so that should never be a problem.
Tennis is one of those sports I watch when I want to just sit in front of the tv and follow something easy. Sort of the same with golf.
tennis is a great sport, both the men and woman are great athletes and i enjoy watching the tournaments![]()
I know it has been "dead" for a long time but...

I am playing tennis for about 7 years and it's still a lot of fun!I play two times in the week which isn't that much but it's important to learn as much as possible, isn't it?

People actually pay attention to tennis?
News to me....
I only thought people cared when one of the players has a hissy fit
Go figure.
