His impact is undeniable and he does have a lot of fans. But he dosen't have as much musical talent as everyone thinks. I thought his best song was stairway to heaven. Then I found out he stole the riff along with a number of other songs.

Next

Nirvana. Was very big in the 90's.
Smell like teen spirit is a pretty popular song.

Overrated a lot. For his simple guitar riffs and his crappy overdubbed voice.
His voice live. Not in the songs.

The biggest controversy with Led Zepp was their first album they undeniably borrowed extensively from other artists and didn't list the song writing credits on the first pressing, however later pressings of the debut album did give credit to the original songwriters.

This is a common complaint, for me I don't care if they did borrow a few riffs here and there, every song they ever recorded became their own, totally different than the original, and in the music industry everyone borrows from somebody, you just have to look back and dig into the history to find some similarities.

I agree about Nirvana, I like Nevermind, but I was never a huge fan of theirs.

Next is muse sorta.
Muse is overrated by there fans to an extreme. Even if they do have a lot of talent.
But in terms of critical acclaim(view by critics) they are underrated. Radio head is not better than muse.( critics can't seam to get this through there head).
Muse does have a lot of talent and I like the band a lot.
The fans just act like they are the greatest thing since sliced bread.

You know I have all of Muse's albums in my library, but I haven't had the time to really give them a fair hearing. Going to have to finish Type O first before I can give you a good argument on this subject.

To be honest I haven't looked in a while, I took the whole discography in FLAC and just haven't had time to check them out. I will have some time in the next couple of months to really go over all the new music in the collection. Give me the names of the unreleased songs you are referring to and I'll see if I can find them.

Why Nirvana, The Clash and Blondie are overrated bands?
